Suspected Serial Burglar Arrested

Robert Tagliaferi, a 45 year old former Eucharistic Minister, Businessman, and Gemologist is suspected of burglarzing dozens of homes in a number of towns and cities across Connecticut over the past year.
One of those housesbelongs to State Representative Brendan Sharkey and his wife. A task force headed up by FBI Agents and local police officers was formed to size up all of the burglaries that they believe Tagliaferi is behind.
Tagliaferi is facing charges of burglary and more in a handful of towns. Police say the string of
burglaries has potentially netted criminals hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars.
