Fox 61’s Rich Coppola Named 2004 Sportscaster of the Year
February 8, 2005

HARTFORD, CT — The National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association has named Fox 61 Sports Director Rich Coppola, Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year for the third year in a row and the seventh time overall.

" Rich loves what he does and it comes through loud and clear when you watch him on the air," says Fox 61 News Director Paul Lewis. "The fact that Rich has been the recipient of this award seven times is a great honor, not only for Rich, but for the entire Sports team at Fox 61 WTIC-TV."

Direct competitors - other sportscasters and sportswriters in each market, determine the Sportscaster and the Sportswriter of the Year.
