Rachel Lutzker Joins Fox 61 News at Ten

(HARTFORD) Tonight a familiar face to Connecticut commuters joins the award-winning Fox 61 News at Ten. Rachel Lutzker, well known Connecticut traffic reporter, will begin her partnership with Fox 61 WTIC-TV as a contributing reporter on the 10:00 pm newscast. Thanks to a broad-ranging agreement between Fox 61 and Clear Channel Total Traffic Network, she will be a regular on the evening newscast and will be the traffic reporter for the Fox 61 Morning Show launching this spring. Lutzker will continue to provide traffic reports for Clear Channel stations WWYZ, WKSS, WPHH and WPOP and serve as evening host on Clear Channel Radio's WHCN The River.

Rachel Lutzker began her broadcasting career as a traffic reporter for several Hartford-area radio and television stations. In 2001, Lutzker moved to New York City as a dedicated traffic reporter for WCBS-TV. She returned to Connecticut for the launch of TimeSaver Traffic WFSB-TV, WHCN, WPHH, WWYZ and WKSS, a collaboration with Clear Channel Communications that evolved into Pinpoint Traffic, providing precise real-time traffic data throughout the state. In addition to traffic reporting, Lutzker is the on-air host of the nightly program Acoustic AfterDark on The River (WHCN).
