Summing Up The Session

Although limited by an agreement not to change the state budget, the General Assembly chalked up some accomplishments this session, including:
•Tougher penalties for repeat criminal offenders.
•Help for some homeowners threatened with foreclosure.
•Mandatory limits on greenhouse gases.
•Tougher rules for teen drivers.
•Limits on lead and asbestos in toys.
