Railroad Museum of New England
The Naugatuck Railroad's scenic round trip excursions are fun, relaxing and educational for the whole family.

The 20 – mile round trip ride takes one hour and fifteen minutes. Along the way you will encounter the Naugatuck River, Mattatuck Forest, Historic Brass Mills and Thomaston Dam. Once back at the station make sure to view the display track and gift shop.

Hours:
Saturdays and Sundays – 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm
Tuesdays – 10:00 am

Rates:
Adults - $12.00
Seniors - $10.00
Children 3-12 - $8.00
Children 2 – under – FREE

Directions:
From Rt 8 Northbound:
Take exit 38, left at bottom of ramp, continue north past 5 traffic lights into center of town, bear right at center of town, go two blocks past Plymouth Glass, follow "Railroad Museum" signs and take ramp on right down to station

From Rt 8 Southbound:
Take exit 40, bear right at bottom of the exit ramp, continue south into center of Thomaston, make a left at the first traffic light, go two blocks past Plymouth Glass, follow "Railroad Museum" signs and take ramp on right down to station.
