Police Investigate Robbery Attempt in Tolland

TOLLAND —
State police are investigating an attempted robbery at the Getty Mart gas station on Route 195 Wednesday afternoon.
The holdup happened shortly before 3 p.m. at the gas station convenience store, 216 Merrow Road, also known as Route 195. The male suspect implied he had a weapon but didn't show one, police said. He ran away without taking any cash.
He is described as white, about 18-25 years old. He was wearing dark clothing and a bandana over his face, police said.
