The Governor's Prevention Partnership's Award is given to the best youth leadership story. The goal of this award is to encourage students to focus their reports on youth who have exhibited exceptional leadership. The stories can include but are not limited to youth safety, role models, success and drug and alcohol prevention.
The production quality of the news story is also considered when judging this award.
