DELIVERY: Good job. Stand up was in front of a plain brick wall. If you are doing it in front of the operation hope building get the shot near a sign so it can be identified.

INTERVIEWS: Good person to interview but the sound bite didn't add to the story. The info you got from that sound bite should have been in the voiceover. Try to get answers to "why" and add emotion to the story. Why does Fairfield need operation hope? What is the most valuable thing that you give to these folks? What was your most meaningful experience here? Try to add feeling to the story.

ORIGINALITY: Good story idea.

WRITING: Ok. It would have been much stronger if you had answered WHY. This is a story that has an emotional element and it was not shown in the story.

VIDEO: Good shots of the housing, beds, food, etc. You could have had movement in frame instead of the frame moving. Make sure there is a specific reason for camera movements. Otherwise let the movement happen while the camera stays still. The interview was well shot.

AUDIO: Good.

EDITING: We were looking at a still shot when you introduced the interview. It was a little confusing. It would have been better to show the interview subject. Nice job showing the housing as you were talking about it.

OVERALL: Good story choice. The story would have benefited from some emotional writing and better camera work.

DELIVERY: Good.

INTERVIEWS: Good people to talk to but the sound bites didn't add anything. Get emotion or some why or how information instead of nuts and bolts or repeating the voiceover.

ORIGINALITY: Good story choice.

WRITING: More specific information would have added the story. What are the unseen ways this helps the town? How? You say this will bring the town together. Who claims this? Be sure to attribute your statements. How will this bring the town together? The story is way too general. There needs to be more specifics on the questions. They say that they need more space, but why? Give some facts.

VIDEO: There was too much camera movement. You couldn't focus on the video because it was moving too much. Don't use movement without a purpose. Are there displays now? It would have been good to see them or tell us about them. For example if they had a collection of Revolutionary war memorabilia but no room to display them would have been interesting. If there were boxes in storage marked with no place to go that would be a good shot. There were no tight shots.

AUDIO: Make sure you are close enough to the microphone. Your voiceover had an echo. Also the interviews were too far from the microphone. There was too much background noise being picked up.

EDITING: Use straight cuts and not fades.

OVERALL: There was way too much movement to air this. Shoot different b-roll and re-do the writing.
