Cromwell Middle School
Date posted: April 2, 2004
School: Cromwell Middle School
Town: Cromwell
Slug: "Health Fair"
Status: Re-submit
Length: :49

DELIVERY: Your voice-over recording is a little fast which makes it difficult for the viewer to hear the information you are trying to impart. Your ending stand-up should be placed at the location of your story. Try not to stand in front of a blank wall when doing your stand-up and interviews.

INTERVIEWS: Please introduce your interview subject within your script so that we know who you are interviewing. Was your interview the gentleman who organized the health fair?

ORIGINALITY: Good community story.

WRITING: We had difficulty understanding the beginning voice-over for your piece and therefore not sure if you hit upon the main 5W's and H: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How.

VIDEO: Good variation in your images. Please remember to always use your tri-pod. The photographers in our studio are not allowed to shot any footage without the tri-pod. No matter how steady you think you can hold the camera, the images will move when the cameraman breathes. Also, please don't pan across to pick up a wide area. Use straight shots and set up your camera in different locations in-order to cover the entire area.

AUDIO:

EDITING: Overall, nice job matching images to your script. Please try not to leave any open audio spaces where there is no voice-over or sound bites.

OVERALL: Please re-due your voice-over and re-edit. Thank you.
