Fox 61 News at Ten has named Narmeen Choudhury as Reporter

HARTFORD -- HARTFORD) Fox 61 News at Ten has named Narmeen Choudhury as Reporter effective immediately. Choudhury relocated Connecticut from Syracuse, NY. She comes to Fox 61 from News 10 NOW in Syracuse where she was a Reporter. She covered breaking news, local politics, crime and human interest stories.

"Narmeen is a solid journalist and a strong addition to the Fox 61 news team. Her background gives her a unique perspective out in the field. We are pleased to welcome someone with Narmeen's skills to the Fox 61 News At Ten," said Richard Graziano, Vice President and General Manager of Fox 61, WTIC-TV.

Prior to News 10 NOW, Choudhury worked as an Associate Producer and Assignment Editor by Capital News 9 in Albany, NY, where she wrote and prepared news scripts for daily newscasts. She also interned with former ABC Correspondent, Bob Zelnick, in Israel and the West Bank, where she interviewed various politicians, journalists, military and political analyst on both sides of the Palestininan-Isreali conflict. In addition to her internship in the Middle East, Choudhury interned for the Boston Metro Newspaper where she was responsible for writing the international news page.

"I'm excited to make Connecticut my new home and am looking forward to working with all the great people at Fox 61," said Choudhury.

Choudhury graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University, College of Communications with a Minor in International Relations.
