Fox 61 to Cover MDA Telethon Live from Mohegan Sun

HARTFORD — (Hartford) This Sunday Fox 61 WTIC-TV will cover the 2007 Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon beginning at 10:45pm Sunday, September 2nd through 7pm Monday, September 3rd. Join Brent Hardin and Susan Christensen, Laurie Perez, Jim Altman, Shelly Sindland, and Rick Hancock live from Mohegan Sun, along with Michael Friedmann broadcasting from Zandrie's Stillwood Inn. The 42nd annual telethon to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association will feature profiles of and appearances by people affected by neuromuscular diseases and served by MDA, as well as medical and scientific research and top entertainment. Thousands of business and community leaders, along with some 250,000 volunteers nationwide will appear on the telethon or work behind the scenes of the show.
